Conversion / Refresher

The objective of the half day Refresher / Conversion course is to provide those already trained in ESM with an update on emerging good practice in the field based on the guidance supporting the latest iESM Principles and Process. There is an examination which is of the same standard as that for the iESM Overview course and so requires a level of understanding that cannot be wholly taught in half a day.

After the course attendees will:

• Have a fresh understanding of the Principles and Processes and terminology of ESM
• Be familiar with emerging good practice based on updated standards and project experience from around the world.
• Be better equipped to tackle the pressures from increased complexity of railway systems and decreased public and passenger tolerance for avoidable accidents.
